Composition courses are part of the Music Research and Composition (MRC) Department. Student Composer Concerts are organized jointly with Music Performance Studies to provide an opportunity for student composers to realize their creative works in collaboration with performance students and faculty. Repertoire ranges from contemporary classical to electroacoustic.

Electroacoustic Composition & Performance
The objective is to produce musical compositions which use digital techniques of synthesis and data manipulation, and also feature integrated live-performance aspects.
Chamber Music Showcase
Composition students work with chamber groups to create new works for small ensembles.
