Postdoctoral Fellowships in Music
Current Opportunities
The Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University in Canada invites expressions of interest in applying to Western's Postdoctoral Fellowship program.
This two-year fellowship provides a stipend of CA$70,000/year + benefits and $5,000 research allowance, plus an annual increase in year 2.
Applicants will need to propose a project that aligns significantly with the research program of one of our full-time Music research faculty members. Those interested in applying should contact the faculty member with whom they wish to work as soon as possible to express interest, as faculty members will only be able to support one application. If the faculty member is willing to support their application, then the candidate and potential supervisor complete the various sections of the application form together.
The title, project proposal, and supervisor statement section of the application form must be drafted and sent to emily.ansari@uwo.ca and clemire2@uwo.ca by March 31, 2026. The finalized application, with two letters of support, should be submitted by the supervisor before April 14, 2026 via the submission portal on the information page.
More information about the program can be found on the Research Western - Postdoctoral Fellowship program webpage. Questions can be sent to emily.ansari@uwo.ca.
