FINALE

And just like that... the final days of classes and concerts bring the winter term and 2023-24 academic year to an end, but not before we get to enjoy some terrific year-end performances.

Student composers and chamber group musicians cap their collaborative year with a showcase gala featuring new compositions written by current students. Electroacoustic compositions written by students are also premiered this month.

Student performance group finales include the Salsa Band and Pop Band, the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band, Contemporary Music Studio, and the Western University Singers bid farewell from the choirs.

Popular Music Studies students present their second showcase concert of the year.

Student credit recitals typically continue throughout the month, even after classes conclude on April 8.
