Renowned trumpet player Nikola Locatelli has carved an illustrious career in both performance and pedagogy. Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet from the Federal University of Santa Maria in 2010, he honed his skills as an instrumentalist in esteemed ensembles like the Santa Maria Youth Orchestra, the Santa Maria Symphonic Orchestra, and the Carazinho Chamber Orchestra. Further augmenting his expertise, he obtained a master’s degree in performance from the Federal University of Paraíba in 2013, mentored by Prof. Dr. Ayrton M. Benck Filho. Nikola demonstrated a commitment to interdisciplinary study, completing a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Finama College in 2021.

Dedicated to the craft of teaching, Nikola Locatelli served as a professor of trumpet at Amazon State University from 2013 to 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree at Western University under the esteemed guidance of Professor Dr. Aaron Hodgson, marking a new chapter in an already distinguished career.
