Saxophonists Alessandro Calicchia and Lexi Graham perform at NASA 2021 Region 10 virtual conference

Congratulations to second-year saxophonists Lexi Graham and Alessandro Calicchia! Both students were selected to perform in the North American Saxophone Alliance's (NASA) Region 10 Conference on February 14, along with their collaborative pianist, Dr. Caleb Mora. They also performed in a masterclass for McGill University's saxophone professor, Marie-Chantal Leclair. Both students are members of Bobbi Thompson's saxophone studio at Western.
The North American Saxophone Alliance is the premiere professional organization for saxophonists throughout North America. Region 10 includes all Eastern Canadian provinces from Ontario to Newfoundland and Labrador. Regional conferences are held every two years, and the Don Wright Faculty of Music was honoured to host the last Region 10 conference at Western in February 2019.
