Sing Yuan Liew is a pianist from Malaysia and a Doctoral Candidate in Piano Performance at Western University, Canada, studying under Dr. Kyung Kim. Her research explores the aesthetic shifts in the music of Maurice Ravel before and after World War I.

An avid performer, Sing Yuan appears regularly on stage as both a solo and chamber pianist across Asia and North America. She is the founder of East Meets West Chamber, a Malaysian ensemble celebrating friendship through music-making and seeking to make classical music more accessible to the public. Since its debut in 2019, the ensemble has presented numerous recitals across Malaysia.

As an experienced collaborator, she currently serves as the pianist for the Western University Singers and has worked with a wide range of instrumentalists, singers, ensembles, and choirs. She remains an active musical partner in the London and Greater Toronto Area communities.

She holds a Master of Music in Piano Literature and Performance from Western University, where she studied with Tina Yanchus, and a Bachelor of Classical Music degree from UCSI University, Malaysia, under the guidance of Jaz Tan. Sing Yuan has performed in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Albert Tiu, Murray McLachlan, Joseph Rackers, Stephen Runge, Shoshana Telner, Chong Lim Ng, Duo Concertante, and the Orfeo Trio.
