Professors Sharon Wei and Angela Park's Ensemble Made In Canada "Mosaïque" CD praised by the CBC
Western Music's Ensemble-in-Residence, Ensemble Made In Canada has been engaged over the past year in producing "The Mosaïque Project". Comprising Don Wright Faculty of Music lecturer and pianist Angela Park violinist Elissa Lee, Don Wright Faculty of Music professor and violist Sharon Wei, and cellist Rachel Mercer, the group commissioned 14 composers (including Ana Sokolović, Sarah Slean, Kevin Lau, Samy Moussa and Barbara Croall) representing every region of Canada to each write a piece inspired by their respective locales.
