Making Music at Western During COVID-19

Music making has continued in a blended virtual and face-to-face environment over the past year at the Don Wright Faculty of Music. Each time new regulations were announced (e.g. physical barriers required for wind and brass players and singers, effective January 2021, and class-size restrictions changed), the Faculty updated its processes while strictly following university and public health guidelines.

From mandatory ventilation and air exchange breaks, to a shared responsibility of tracking practice room time, we are proud of what our community has accomplished together during a challenging year.
