Congratulations to current Master's student Seokho Park, tenor, who was recently named Young Artist of the Year with the "Super Rookie Award" from the Korea Opera Association.

The 13th Korea Opera Festival was held at the Seoul Art Center opera house between April 28 and June 5, 2022, during which time Park performed Rodolfo in La bohème alongside outstanding artists. After the performance, Korea Opera Company Association opened the election for awards, and he was elected as Young Artist of the Year.

The award was presented on November 15 to Park's family while he continues his studies at Western in London, Ontario, where he studies with Sophie Roland. Photos below were shared by Seokho Park.
