BMus student Patricia Wrigglesworth joins 2022 National Youth Choir of Canada

Congratulations to second-year Bachelor of Music student Patricia Wrigglesworth who will be joining the National Youth Choir of Canada (NYCC) for their 2022 season.

The NYCC is a project of Choral Canada, and is one of Canada’s finest youth choirs. It is a one-of-a-kind professional development opportunity for some of Canada’s best emerging choral singers. Truly national in scope, the prestigious choir is made up of singers between the ages of 19 and 26 who are auditioned from across the country every two years.

Patricia is a soprano currently studying Voice Performance with Torin Chiles. She was previously a voice major in the Arts Unionville program at Unionville High School where she sang in the chamber and concert choirs, played in the band, and performed in school musical productions. She has participated in solo festivals and competitions such as the OMFA Provincials, the NATS Vocal Showcase, the Pickering GTA Festival and the Newmarket Voice Festival. She was a long standing member of the Bach Children's Chorus and was also a member of the 2018 and 2019 Ontario Youth Choir.
