LMSF Competition Winners 2017
Congratulations to the winners of the 2017 London Music Scholarship Foundation competition, which was held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 before a panel of external jurors.
From all the students who performed on Saturday afternoon, seven were selected to advance to the prize round. In alphabetical order those were:

Amanda Forest, clarinet
Anna Macdonald, soprano
Kirit Mascarenhas, violin
Amanda Weatherall, mezzo-soprano
Tanner Willson, flute
Dorothy Zhihui Lin, violin
Three winners were selected after the evening session by the same panel of judges.

Many thanks to the judges (John Greer (Voice), Amy Hamilton (Winds, Brass, and Percussion), Manuel Ángel Ramírez López (Piano), and Katharine Rapoport (Strings)) and faculty member Torin Chiles who chaired this year’s competition.
Thank you to all participants and their pianists for their commitment. Our judges commented that all of our contestants displayed a very high calibre of performance and artistry.
