DECEMBER MUSINGS

Fall term classes come to an end on Dec. 9, but concerts and special events continue throughout the month, including a special performance from Daegu Opernstudio Soloists on December 5!

Most of our large ensembles have a chance to musically sign off on 2025. Not-to-be-missed this month are concerts featuring Electroacoustic composition students as they share their work, and the first concert from the Contemporary Music Studio.

All three Choirs at Western (Chorale, Les Choristes and Western University Singers) will perform for the second time this term. The Symphony Orchestra will give a sendoff with From The Heart of Europe—the last large ensemble concert of the calendar year—featuring Rossini's William Tell Overture, Schubert's “Unfinished” Symphony No. 8, and lively dances from Kodály, Dvořák and Brahms.

Stay tuned to the Events Listings for studio and student recitals.
