Celebrating 2025 Kiwanis Music Festival of London winners

Congratulations to the many Don Wright Faculty of Music 2025 Kiwanis Music Festival of London winners and their teachers, including those who placed in the Young-Ja Park Memorial Piano Competition and the Rose Bowl Competition.
Young-Ja Park Memorial Piano Competition
- First Prize: Terrence Wu (student of Stéphan Sylvestre) - Terrence is graduating with his Master of Music (MMus) in Piano Performance at Western this spring.
- Second Prize: Andrea He (student of Stéphan Sylvestre) - Andrea is a pianist currently in her fourth year at Western.
- Third Prize: Kai Melconian (student of Angela Park) and Cherilyn Yan I (student of Angela Park) - Kai is in his fourth year of the Bachelor of Music, Honours in Music Education (piano) at Western and Cherilyn is a Grade 12 high school student.
The Rose Bowl Competition
- First Prize: Kai Melconian, pictured above and also below with his teacher Angela Park who won the Rose Bowl in 1999.
- Second Prize: Jacob Sills (student of James Westman) - Twenty-year-old Jacob Sills from Seaforth is an active musician with the Amabile Choirs of London, and a former student of the Catholic Central High School Choral Program.
