Funding Support

The Music Faculty Research Office supports faculty research across all stages of the funding and research development process. Whether faculty members are exploring a new project idea, preparing a grant application, developing partnerships, or navigating institutional processes, the Research Office can provide guidance, coordination, and strategic support.

Support may include:

  • identifying funding opportunities and assessing program fit;
  • early-stage project and research development conversations;
  • proposal development, editing, and milestone review;
  • strategic guidance on adjudication criteria, positioning, and research framing;
  • budgeting, timelines, and application coordination;
  • preparation for internal and external peer review processes;
  • interpretation of adjudication feedback and reapplication planning;
  • institutional approvals and ROLA processes; and
  • knowledge mobilization and research communication planning.

Faculty members are encouraged to connect with the Music Faculty Research Office early to discuss research plans and funding opportunities.
