Opera at Western

Voice at Western

Western's Opera program has enjoyed a colourful and successful history. It has been major part of the growth of the vocal program at the Don Wright Faculty of Music and was the first university program in North America to make use of computer-generated supertitles to project translations for productions in a foreign language.

Each year, the opera program typically performs two full productions with orchestra plus an opera gala event in Paul Davenport Theatre. Complete information about upcoming and past performances (including photos) can be found on our Opera at Western webpage.

2023-24 Performances
