Performance - Voice

Brianna DeSantis is a DMA candidate in voice at Western University. She is a recent graduate of the MMus in Literature and Performance at the same institution. She is also a recipient of several external awards such as OGS and SSHRC. While maintaining an active performance schedule in both London and Windsor, Ontario, she also enjoys teaching voice students in these cities. Research interests include the psychology of performance and how sport psychology techniques can be used to reduce performance anxiety in musicians.
Brianna's research was recently published in “Investigating the circumstances under which singers use imagery: A pilot study,” (DeSantis, Deck, & Hall, 2019) in the Psychology of Music Journal.
