Three alumni part of “golden buzzer” performance in Canada’s Got Talent audition
It was a golden moment for three alumni who performed with singer Stacey Kay on Canada’s Got Talent, which aired in April.
James (Jim) Toner, BMus’09, MMus’12, on drums, Mark Laidman, BMusA’14, BEd’15 on bass, and Antonio (Tony) De Luca, BMus’12, BEd’13 on saxophone performed with Kay.
Producer and CGT judge Kardinal Offishall made the decision to use his one-time “golden buzzer” on the stellar performance that earned Kay an automatic berth to the live rounds of the popular nationwide talent competition.
