Works by Daniel and Frehner at ISCM 2017

Two Don Wright Faculty of Music composers had works performed at the World New Music Days - ISCM 2017 Vancouver conference, November 2 - 8. Omar Daniel’s Trio no. 2 for violin, cello and piano was commissioned and performed by Calgary’s Land’s End Trio. Paul Frehner’s Fuze, for violin, electronics and soundtrack, was performed by Victoria’s Müge Büyükçelen. Since its founding in 1922, the International Society for Contemporary Music has been the world’s premier network for new music. Each year, its festival is hosted in a different city around the globe.
