Renee Raymond

Renee Raymond holds a Master's of Music Education from Western University, as well as a Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Music Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently a student in the PhD Music Education program at Western and has recently accepted a full-time music teaching position at a private all girls' day school in Vancouver, BC. Prior to her graduate work, Renee taught instrumental music and jazz ensembles to middle and senior school aged students. Her primary teaching experiences are with concert bands and instrumental ensembles.

Renee's current research interests include digital media and musical learning, informal music teaching and learning, socio-cultural issues within music education and social justice.
